UN nuclear resolution, babalewalain ng NoKor

SEOUL, South Korea-Inihayag kahapon ng North Korea na babalewalain ang resolusyon ng UN nuclear watchdog na nag-aatas sa komunistang bansa na iabandona ang programang nukleyar nito at makiisa muli sa nuclear nonproliferation treaty.

 

Matatandaang umatras ang North Korea mula sa Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty noong Enero, ay nagsabing ang resolusyon na tinanggap noong Biyernes ng 137-nation International Atomic Energy Agency ay "does not deserve even a passing note."

 

"In fact the DPRK has nothing to do with the IAEA," saad ng KCNA news agency ng Pyongyang. "It would be better for the delegates of those countries which supported the resolution to take a walk and drink coffee than sitting idle for unproductive discussion."

 

Ang DPRK ay kumakatawan sa Democratic People's Republic of Korea, ang opisyal na pangalan ng North Korea.

 

"The DPRK can never recognize but declares invalid such 'unreasonable resolution' as it was adopted in disregard of the nature of the nuclear issue, a product of the US hostile policy towards the DPRK, and the status in which the DPRK is no longer bound to the NPT," saad ng KCNA, na minomonitor ng Seoul.

 

Nagsimula ang nuclear crisis noong Oktubre nang sinabi ng US na umamin ang North Korea na mayroon itong nuclear weapons program, na isang paglabag sa international agreements.
